Join other halflings, dwarves, elves, and wizards for a prerelease adventure at Gaming DNA from 07 August - 09 August while you compete for prizes!

An Unexpected Party - Team Sealed
We're keeping team sealed in our prerelease weekend events with An Unexpected Party - a team sealed event where the winning team will take home their share of two booster boxes! And the team in 2nd place share a booster box between them!
- You and two friends form a team (or party) and each open a The Hobbit prerelease kit.
- With your combined card pool, build 3x 40-card decks - one for each team member!
- Battle your opponents in 1-v-1 matches where your result may determine the fate of... that round.
- Swiss rounds will determine your team's final placing in the event.
- Whichever team is victorious at the end will get 2x The Hobbit Play Booster Boxes, and 2nd Place gets 1x The Hobbit Play Booster Box!
- Note: this event is expected to run until 3:30pm - 4:30pm based on total attendance
Event Prizing
Sealed & Two-Headed Giant Prerelease events will use prerelease kits containing:
6x The Hobbit Play Boosters
1x Prerelease promo card
1x Spindown d20 die
Each player who completes at least two rounds receives 2x The Hobbit Play Boosters for participating in the event
An Unexpected Party Team Sealed event will use 3x prerelease kits per team for deck construction.
Teams play opposing players simultaneously: Player A vs Player A, B vs B, C vs C.
Individual results contribute to team results, i.e. if you win your match 2-1 then your team is now 1-0 for the round, with one more win needed from a teammate.
The winning team receives 2x The Hobbit Play Booster Boxes. The 2nd Place team receives 1x The Hobbit Play Booster Box. Prizing for additional placings will be dependent on overall player numbers.
