Our Gaming DNA Premier Series has been bringing together players, from across the Waikato and beyond, for high level competition in their favourite TCGs throughout 2025!
Now, we're excited to announce the formats for our invite-only 2025 Finals Weekend in December!
But first... a quick recap! How do you become the Premier Series Store Champion and what does being the Premier Series Store Champion mean?
Competing in the Premier Series events for any TCG gets you points on that game's League Table. More events and/or higher placings earn more points. Then, the top 8 or 16 players (depending on the game system) on each TCGs League Table are invited to a free event to determine our Premier Series Store Champions!
For each game system, the Premier Series Store Champion for 2025 will have free entry to events hosted by Gaming DNA for that game system in 2026.
This includes: one event at every Prerelease; every Hobby League; every set-based Store Champs; every qualifier; and every other sealed, draft, or limited event in that game system for all of 2026! And our Premier Series Store Champion will have a guaranteed spot in every event of their game system that has limited spaces available.
And now, the Finals Weekend formats for the Gaming DNA Premier Series 2025!

"Rainbow" Constructed Rules |
Each player requires 3 Core Constructed-legal (i.e. post-rotation) decks with the following restrictions: In each match, each deck can only be played once. Prior to each game of the match, you choose which deck you will play. Then you determine who will start. You do not need to announce your ink pairings to your opponent. At the start of the Top 4 Cut, qualifying players select only one deck from their "Rainbow" Constructed decks to use for the remainder of the single elimination rounds. The TO must be notified of your chosen deck at that time. |
